ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA window unit has a plurality of adjustable anchorsfixed to a bottom rail thereof. When the window unit ismounted in a building opening, a top rail thereof isreceived in a channel-shaped frame secured to an upper edgeof the building opening and the adjustable anchors areplaced on attachment base plates, respectively, secured toa lower edge of the building opening. Then, the adjustableanchors are adjusted to adjust the window unit in positionbetween the upper and lower edges, and thereafter arewelded or otherwise fastened to the attachment base plates.
