A lactic acid bacteria sterter for preparation of silage contains a strain Lactobacillus casei C-1631 (Deposition No. BP-2260) as the effective bacteria or further contains a strain Streptococcus lactis C-6513 (Deposition No. BP-2261) in addition to the Lactobacillus casei C-1631.
