This is a holding apparatus (8) serving for increasing the stability of a floor shuttering support (2) in construction. Said device is to be placed on the ground (1) and to be attached releasably from the side to the lower part of the support (2). This purpose is served by an attachment device (10) which is arranged in the region of the upper side (9) of the apparatus. Support legs (13, 14) extend downwards from the upper side (9) of the apparatus.
