The process comprises provision of roughened (A) elements (1) on a plane shuttering (4), having spacers (5) and equal in height to the block thickness. Binder (3) is applied to the side receiving the support and levelling mix e.g. cement, finally poured into position. Pref. setting additives are incorporated in the mix, with simultaneous vibration of the mix. The elements can be of regular or irregular shape. The use of a corresponding process in brick, etc. mfr. increases the bond with gravity forces. ADVANTAGE - Utilises gravity to increase bond.
