IMMUNOLOGICAL DETERMINATION OF APOLIPOPROTEIN B FROM LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEINS IN SERUM

Process for assaying low-density lipoproteins LDL in the serum from apolipoprotein B (apo B), making it possible to carry out successively, in a single operation, by electrophoresis, a separation of the LDLs from the other lipoproteins containing apo B, which are retained in a polyacrylamide gel 1 with controlled crosslinking, and an assay of the apo B of the LDLs which are thus separated by electroimmunodiffusion in agarose gel 2 containing anti-apo B antibodies.
