Galvanic electrostimulation device for the vesical and anal incontinence, comprising an electrode (1) which may be inserted in the sphincter area of the rectum and which is comprised of a cylindrical and insulated electrode rod, of a disk-shaped annular electrode, of a cylindrical stick electrode and of a spherical or ovoid electrode head connected to the remaining part. The annular electrode, the complete cylindrical stick electrode and at least a portion of the electrode head are electrically conducting, whereas the remaining portion of the electrode head is made of acrylic material or is also totally electrically conducting. A surface electrode (4) arranged in the region of the kidneys or the pubis and the electrode inserted in the muscular region are connected to a pulse device (6) emitting bipolar pulses of predetermined power. Thereby neither the inner nor the outer portion of the skin of the patient suffer from any burn due to acid or ion transport.
