Integrable, simple sliding bar as a data protection system for securing and releasing of the data-protect and write-protect notch, as a practical accessory for flexible computer data-storage discs (diskettes)

Sliding bar for flexible data-storage discs (diskettes) according to German Offenlegungsschrift 3425990). A data protection accessory, intended for securing and releasing the data-protect and write-protect notch, comprising a sliding bar, for example made of plastic, which is pushed when required between the turned-over edge fold and the rearside of the jacket of a diskette until the notch appears closed. When releasing the notch, the sliding bar is automatically integrated permanently in the protected jacket. As a result, there is no longer any need for the use, as previously customary, of disadvantageous write-protect label stickers.
