In a spherical cavity resonator between the earth's surface and ionosphere having the natural frequency of about 7.8 Hz, resonant electromagnetic oscillations occur which have a spectrum of harmonics up to about 20 Hz. These so-called atmospherics are excited by thunderstorm discharges and electron currents from the surface of the sun. They generate bioelectrical reactions in humans by synchronising the alternating brain currents. According to the invention, a damped electrical absorption circuit having a resonant frequency of 13 Hz and a bandwidth b3db = 500 Hz is specified, the wire loop of which is run on the top floor of a house and which results in significant attenuation of the atmospherics.
