The harvesting machine is for green flax. It incorporates flax pulling equipment and a separator. A cutter (28) located below the binder (3) of the pulling equipment separates the roots from the halms. The cutter (28) consists of a pair of contrary power driven concealed round blades. USE/ADVANTAGE - The cutter, by cutting off the roots from the halms, avoids a tedious extra operation.
