The invention relates to a method for the simultaneous multiple taking of samples of ground-waters from ground layers of different depths, especially of waters loaded with volatile materials. A bore is made in the ground-water carrying layers in the ground, and at least two mutually independent devices for extracting the ground-water are inserted, being so entered into the bore that in the final position they are in different ground layers and pump the ground-water out from there via separated conveying hoses to the surface. With the aid of the control device, the individual conveying devices are prevented from effecting a change in the hydraulic conditions in such a way as to disturb the water layer as a result of the fluctuating permeability of the ground, while, with the aid of a two-stage control transformer, the voltage on the pump is throttled insofar as to achieve a minimum conveyed volume and the power of the pumps is mutually altered with the aid of rotary potentiometers. The invention further relates to a device for carrying out this method, which is characterised in that each conveying unit consists preferably of a filter, one or more pumps with power supply cable, conveying hose, control device and meter connection.
