Process for the microbiological treatment of a contaminated soil, and device for introducing the microorganism into the contaminated soil

A process is described for the microbiological treatment of a soil which is contaminated with organic compounds, in particular hydrocarbons. Microorganisms are applied to a carrier, and the microorganisms which are bound to the carrier are brought into contact with the contaminated soil. Then, the microorganisms alone and/or together with the carrier are distributed over the contaminated soil by mechanically mixing them with the soil and/or by means of a suitable fluid.
