Flow meter having a cylindrical concentric cut-out tube and annular floating body in the cylindrical outer tube

The flow meter for vertical measurements, having a cut-out inner tube and annular floating body in the cylindrical outer tube, is provided for flow measurements of liquids and gases in closed pipework. In contrast to existing devices, the invention is distinguished by the measuring liquid flowing through the cut-outs into the inner tube. The size of the cut-outs or openings determine the flow quantity, which move the floating body in turn and thus represent a new type of measuring technology using floating bodies. By this means a higher measured quantity and accuracy are achieved.
