Device for connecting conducting cables possessing a metal sheath for sealing or for screening against electromagnetic inductions. This device includes, for each metal sheath 5, 5a to be connected, an elementary connection system 9, 9a formed by the combination of an inner metal bush 12 engaged beneath the end of this sheath around the end of the corresponding conductor or conductors 3, and of two outer metal half-shells 13 clamped around the end of this same metal sheath 5, 5a and around its insulating outer jacket 6 by being placed in contact with a collar 14 carried by the inner metal bush 12. The present device comprises, on the one hand, one or two metal connecting sleeves 10, 10a attached respectively to one and to the other of these two connection systems and which are suitable for forming a screening cage around the ends of the conductor or conductors of the corresponding cables. The present device can be used in all cases where the cables to be connected include a metal screening sheath. IMAGE
