The invention relates to a device for standing up a harvest lying on the ground in order to allow this harvest to be cut. It consists of an active part 1 which raises the harvest and which rests on the ground by means of a shoe 2. Two parallel connecting rods 3 and 4 of substantially equivalent length constitute the link between the support 5 and the active part 1 allowing the movement of the latter. The spring 6 has the effect of keeping the shoe 2 in contact with the ground, the total excursion of the active part being limited by a stop-piece 7 located between the connecting rods 3 and 4.
