This device comprises a body which can receive an injection system 15 proper containing the product to be injected, at least one drive means 30, 40 which can move, under the action of elastic means 57, first, the body of the injection system proper until the latter penetrates the injection zone, and, secondly, a piston-type part 17 of this system, so as to make the injection proper, means of the trigger type 60 allowing triggering of the injection means. According to the invention, each drive piece 30, 40 is moved axially independently of the elastic means 57, which makes it possible to load the device without arming the elastic means and therefore affords great safety. Elastic means 23 are provided in order to return the injection system 15 backwards, once the injection is completed. Longitudinal guide grooves 5, 6, 7 are provided in the two sidewalls of the body 1 of the device for guiding the various pieces 20, 30, 40, 65 of the injection device. IMAGE
