The invention relates to a disposable razor of the cut-throat type, including a handle as an extension of which is mounted a blade whose edge is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the handle. The handle 1 is extended as a single component by a head 2 formed of two half-shells folded onto one another substantially as an extension of the axis of the handle, the half-shells being joined together by interlocking and welding, so as to house and immobilise between them a cutting blade whose cutting edge 10 extends slightly beyond the longitudinal edge 11 of the head opposite the edge 5 along which the two half-shells constituting the said head 2 are connected.
