The invention relates to an economical mould for pouring square or rectangular concrete columns. It is formed of a template G and a sleeve C slid inside the template. The template G prevents the sleeve from deforming under the pressure of the liquid concrete and the sleeve C seals the system, in such a way that the two essential qualities of shuttering for columns are united: undeformability and leaktightness. Moreover, the mould is economical because the same template can be used for columns of many different sizes by simple adjustment of the template and because each sleeve slid inside, left in at each pouring, is not expensive, being made from cardboard or similar material.
