MOTION MEASURING METHOD BASED UPON MOVING IMAGE PROCESSING

摘要

PURPOSE:To make it possible to estimate motion and an existing area also from an optical flow including an observing error by executing statistical processing setting up the positional relation of 3 visual points as a restricting condition. CONSTITUTION:The motion state of a rigid body is image-picked up at least from 3 visual points and an optical flow is found out from the continuous image of respective image-picked up visual points. The parameter of the optical flow is determined by resolving a restricted minimizing problem setting up the positional relation of respective visual points as a restricting condition based upon the optical flow and the three-dimensional motion of the rigid body is determined from the determined parameter. The existing area of the rigid body is determined by using the determined three-dimensional motion of the rigid body and the optical flow parameter. Thus, the motion and existing area of the rigid body can be estimated also from the optical flow including an observing error by executing the statistical processing setting up the positional relation of 3 visual points as the restricting condition.
