TRAINING MACHINE FOR RELIGIOUS MEDITATION AS PRACTICED IN THE ZEN SECT

PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily train a title religious meditation at a place, such as a home or training center by providing a thrashing device, and a motion-detecting device for a trainee who sits on a pedestal, and a controlling device for operating the thrashing device by operating together with the motion-detecting device. CONSTITUTION:A mat 3 having proper elasticity, such as urethane resin or rubber plate, is provided on the upper surface part of a pedestal 1, and a motion-detecting device detecting the motion of a trainee who sits at a specified place on the pedestal 1, is composed in the mat 3. On the upper part of a backboard 7 provided at the rear part of the pedestal 1, a thrashing device 8 is so provided as to be able to thrash both the shoulder parts of the trainee in the state that the trainee 2 sits at the specified place on the pedestal 1. A span L between bar-shaped bodies 9a, 9b forming the thrashing device 8 can be so adjusted as to fit in a shoulder length of each trainee 2. The mounting place of the bar-shaped bodies 9a, 9b can be adjusted by fixing them mounted on a supporting shaft 13 by machine screws.
