GROWTH OF SEEDLING FOR TRANSPLANTING BY RICE TRANSPLANTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To make operation efficient through rational improvement by packing bed soil to a specific container put on a placing stand having protrusions, turning the container upside down, sowing seeds in dents formed on the surface of bed soil and further covering the seed with soil. CONSTITUTION:A container 3 of top open state which can be readily cut by a planting pawl of rice transplanter, consists of a material such as paper board, etc., decomposable with time and equipped with plural through holes 2 at given pitches on the bottom 1 is put on a placing stand 5 having plural protrusions 4 to be inserted into each of the through holes 2. Then bed soil 6 is packed into the container 3 up to a position where the bed soil is charged along the upper edge and the bed soil is pressed and hardened from the top and then covered with a box of seedling raising. The box of seedling raising is turned upside down. Then the placing stand 5 is removed, further seeds are sowed in dents 8 formed on the protrusions 4 on the surface of bed soil in the through holes 2 and covered with soil 9 to make operation efficient.
