FILE CONTROL METHOD USING MEDIUM/SMALL TYPE COMPUTER

PURPOSE:To save the memories in a computer, to make clear the change/ correction history and to facilitate the file control by storing a changed file together with the name of a person who change the file and the changing time point. CONSTITUTION:A local directory 15 contains a global directory 16 of a relevant file and the history information on a version whose application is decleared within a directory in which the directory 15 exist. The directory 16 contains a number of its own, the whole history information on the relevant file, and a number of a file main body of each history forming a pair with the history information. In the case a registered file is changed, the changed new file is stored in a memory of a computer together with the name of a person who change the file and the file changing time point. Furthermore a user can select the changed file by reference to the history stored in the registered file at application of the registered file. Thus it is possible to effectively use the limited number of memories contained in a medium/small type computer, and update history is made clear so that the file control is facilitated.
