摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance the melting miscibility, picture sharpness and preservable stability of the toner compsn. by using a specific anthraquinone dyestuff. CONSTITUTION:The anthraquinone dye expressed by the formula I is incorporated into the color toner for developing electrostatic charge images. In the formula, R1 denotes H, alkyl, etc.; R2 denotes H, alkyl, etc.; R3 to R5 denote H, alkyl, etc. The cyan color toner is produced by melting and kneading, for example, the dyestuff expressed by the formula II with a binder (e.g. styrene/ acrylate copolymer), then pulverizing and classifying the mixture. The developer is formed by adding a charge control agent, etc., to the above-mentioned toner. The formation of the compsn. for cyan color sublimation transfer recording by dispersing the dyestuff of the formula II into the binder resin is preferable as well.
