PURPOSE:To excellently decompose organic components in drainage and to reduce clogging of a microorganism filter and to efficiently extinguish offensive odor components by immobilizing photosynthesizing bacteria on fibers of an accumulated fiber body or between fibers thereof. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism filter is formed of both and accumulated fiber body 2 and photosynthesizing bacteria 3 immobilized on fibers 21 of this accumulated fiber body 2 and between fibers 21 thereof. The surface area of this microorganism filter can be made large by utilizing the accumulated fiber body 2 in such a way and also light energy necessary for photosynthesizing bacteria 3 can be absorbed efficiently and easily. As a result, extinguishment of bacteria and offensive odor components due to the photosynthesizing bacteria 3 can be efficiently performed and organic components contained in drainage can be excellently decomposed and clogging of the microorganism filter can be reduced and also offensive odor can be made little.
