PURPOSE:To maintain a quality easily and efficiently, by a method wherein at least a kind of chemical ingredient such as cold volatile insecticide/ mildewcide and an anticorrosive is incorporated into printing ink or coating and a chemical holding sheet obtained by printing or applying the printing ink or coating to the surface of a sheetlike substance is mounted within an apparatus. CONSTITUTION:1-ethynyl-2-methyl-2-pentenyl chrysanthemate, 2-methyl-3-allyl-4- oxocyclopent-2-enyl chrysanthemate are mentioned as cold volatile insecticide. alpha-bromocinnamaldehyde and beta-thuyaplicin are mentioned as an insecticide/ mildewcide. Cyclohexyl ammonium nitrate and diisopropylamin nitrate are mentioned as a rust preventive agent. Film made of resin such as a polyethylene film, cloth and paper are mentioned as a sheetlike substance. When one side of a film made of the resin is printed or coated, volatilization of chemicals is generated through the other surface also. Since this quality holding sheet is in a sheetlike state, it can be mounted easily within the subject apparatus.
