PURPOSE:To prevent the hunching problem of damper of VAV unit (variable air volume unit) by modulating the load reset value which limits the capacity range increment according to the air conditioning parameters in a variable air volume control system for respective locations to be air conditioned. CONSTITUTION:The regulators 7-1-7-n for subject rooms to be air conditioned 6-1-6-n controls the damper opening of the VAV units 8-1-8-n at the respective outlets diverging from the air supply duct 5 according to the deviation between the set temperature and the measured values from temperature sensors T-1-T-n. In this instance, if the deviation exceeds the predetermined value even at the maximum damper opening, a load reset command to increase the capacity for the blown supply air temperature is outputted to a control device 4 through a signal line L to quickly resolve the inadequacy of load condition. In a case where the load reset is performed according to the capacity increase demand during the heating or cooling operation, the capacity for the blown supply air temperature is increased at a suitable rate of speed to prevent an overshooting of the load condition of the subject rooms to be air conditioned 6-1-6-n back to the load reset deviation range so as to prevent the damper hunching.
