NETWORK STRUCTURE KNOWLEDGE EXPRESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To clearly separate a concept knowledge from a semantic expression utilizing the concept knowledge and to facilitate the knowledge processing by using a concept knowledge data base where the successive relation is secured between entry items together with a hierarchical structure and a network structure where the nodes succeeding the contents of a dictionary entry are connected via a directed side. CONSTITUTION:A network structure knowledge expressing part 11 expresses an input knowledge in a semantic network, and a concept knowledge data base 12 serves as a dictionary part and holds a concept knowledge for the semantic network. Then the knowledge inputted via an input line 10 refers to the concept knowledge held by the part 11 serving as a dictionary part and forms a semantic network. Therefore the concept knowledge written into a node of a dictionary is succeeded to a node of the semantic network. The conditions which decide whether the connection is possible with an arc in the semantic network or not are also described into the dictionary node. As a result, the succession of the concept knowledge in a dictionary is easily discriminated from the succession carried out between the dictionary and the network.
