HANGING GUTTER WITH RISING AND FALLING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent struts from falling and to make it possible to cope with enlargement of a hanging gutter by rising the hanging gutter of an upward water channel side intersecting with a downward water channel automatically through pulley devices and the like by load of a balance weight. CONSTITUTION:A balance weight 6 is placed over between struts 4 and 5 which are erected to both sides of a hanging gutter 3 of an upward water channel 1 intersecting with a water channel 2. Pulley devices 7 and 13 wound and loaded with control strips 7c mounted one ends of them to mounting sections 7d provided to four corners of the balance weight 6 and mounted the other ends to pulleys 7b of the hanging gutter 3 side are provided to the struts 4 and 5. When the water channel 2 swells, the hanging gutter is automatically risen by load of the balance weight 6 through the pulley devices 7, 13 and a power increasing device 10 to make running water smooth. According to the constitution, load of the balance weight 6 acts in the longitudinal direction of the struts 4 and 5, and it does not act in the lateral direction, so that the falling of struts can be prevented.
