PURPOSE:To simply consult the meaning of an archaic word from a living word by arranging living words in the order of Japanese syllabary of fifty sounds. CONSTITUTION:An archaic word is easily consulted from a living word, the living words are arranged in the order of Japanese syllabary of fifty sounds to notify the archaic words from the living words, the example of use and meaning thereof. An index of the living words is inserted to the head and end of an archaic word book, etc. thereby to easily consult the corresponding archaic word from the page. Since the archaic word is consulted from the living word, the living language is interpreted or translated into the archaic word, and original archaic word is approached from the living word or interpretation.
