PURPOSE:To measure the conductivity of materials to be examined by providing a temperature correcting circuit, a temperature measuring element, and a display circuit without approximately equalizing temperatures of a standard test piece for correction and materials to be measured, verified, and examined. CONSTITUTION:The overcurrent detected by a conductivity measuring element 1 is sent to a conductivity measuring circuit 2, and the value of the overcurrent is converted to a conductivity in the circuit 2 and is detected by a temperature measuring element 6. The detection signal is sent to a temperature correcting circuit 3 connected to a temperature setting dial 4, which matches the signal to the temperature measured by a temperature measuring circuit 7, and a material characteristic setting dial 5. The signal processed by circuits 7 and 3 is selected by a display changeover switch 8 and is displayed by a display circuit 9. The change rate, which is dependent upon the characteristic of materials, of the value of the conductivity converted by the circuit 2 is determined by the value set by the dial 5, and the value of conductivity at a normal temperature is operated in the circuit 3 by the temperature value set by the dial 4.
