PURPOSE: To simplify the manufacturing process of a reagent by selecting a reactive mixture where a label generates a signal and measuring the label of a solid phase by a specific method. CONSTITUTION: A reactive mixture that is suited to the concentration range of an analyte and a carrier selected for antigen is used as the reactive mixture where a label generates a signal, where the reactive mixture separates solid phase and liquid phase after bringing the solid phase into contact with a specimen initially. Then, a large number of specimens with various kinds of quantity or dilution are brought into contact with the continuous dilute object of a labeled antigen with the same specifical property to obtain a mixture. The mixture is brought into contact with a solid phase that is adjusted as in the above, the solid phase and the liquid phase are separated again, the label of the solid phase is measured, thus washing the solid phase containing the antigen and the specimen and labeled antigen containing the antibody. As a result, they can be washed at one time, thus manufacturing a reagent easily.
