HARD ALLOY WITH TIC-BASED CERMET LAYER FORMED ON SURFACE

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the wear and melt sticking resistances of a hard alloy by forming a TiC-based cermet layer of a prescribed thickness bonded with Co and/or Ni deposited from the hard alloy on the surface of the hard alloy. CONSTITUTION:A green compact consisting of powder of WC, TiC, etc., and powder of Co and/or Ni is presinterd to obtain a hard alloy. A TiC or (TiW)C layer of 5-100mum thickness is formed on the surface of the hard alloy and bonded with Co and/or Ni deposited from the hard alloy.
