PURPOSE: To examine a layer formed dynamically when a separation step is lasted by a method in which a diffracted lattice of variable frequency is used, a monochrome light of specific frequency is irradiated through a rotor window of a centrifugal separator and adsorption of a sample is measured. CONSTITUTION: A sample 50 housed in a cell S1 of a super-centrifugal separator generates a layer-like arrangement in a field of large gravity, a light 40 from a flash electric lamp L passes through an opening 28, is incident on a mirror M, passes through an upper window 20 of the cell S1 , the sample 50, a lower window 22 and a slit 52 and reaches a detector D. Herein, the mirror M has a rule of a different interval to form a diffracted lattice of variable wavelengths, and when the mirror M is rotated as shown in an arrow 62, a first component of a desired first wavelength and a second component of an undesired second wavelength are selectively output with a specific band width to scan the sample 50. Thereby, if measuring sensitivity of a system for the first and second wavelength lights and absorption of a sample, influences of the second component included in absorption measurement for the first wavelength light can be computed and removed.
