CONSTITUTION:The annular patterns 11 which are different with each of the kinds or fuel cycles of the core constituting element are inscribed to the top end face of the core constituting element 1 and the electronic scanning type ultrasonic probe 10 facing the patterns 11 is provided to the end of the gripper 2 of the refueling machine. The patterns 11 are detected by scanning the probe 10 in a radial direction when the core constituting element 1 is gripped by the gripper 2. The kind of the core constituting element is immediately identified in this way.
