DEVICE FOR WAITING FOR CARRIED OBJECT IN PRODUCTION LINE FOR FOOD PACKAGE OR THE LIKE AND CONTROL OF PRODUCTION LINE USING SUCH DEVICE

PURPOSE:To automatically store objects carried on a production line at the time of failure or the like by a method wherein the outer periphery of a rotating body is equipped at specified pitches on the circumference with recesses which extend from the start to end along the axis and are deep enough for a carried object on the conveyer to pass through. CONSTITUTION:During normal operation, a rotating body 5 of a waiting device stops to allow objects on the conveyer to pass through a recess 6 on the rotating body. If carried objects are stopped in front of post treatment process due to malfunction or the like and the carried objects on the conveyer 2 are to be stored in the waiting device, the rotating body 5 is swung by one pitch of the recesses 6. The carried objects which are passing through the recess on the conveyer are pushed out to the side of the conveyer and transferred onto a guide wall 8. In other words, a space for storing the carried objects is made by the inner face of the guide wall 8 and one of the recesses 6. At this time, the next recess is located on the conveyer and new objects travel on the conveyer. Then, by swinging the rotating body 5 by one pitch, the carried objects on the conveyer are pushed out to side of the conveyer.
