CURRENT SOURCE CIRCUIT INCLUDING CURRENT SOURCE STAGE AND INVERTER STAGE

PURPOSE: To supply two output currents which are operated with a high precision and have opposite polarities and the same amplitude by providing a current source circuit having specific complementary current mirrors. CONSTITUTION: A second output current I having the polarity opposite to than of a first output current I is generated in inverter stages M6 to M9. A switch means SW3 is closed during the trimming step of the current source circuit to short-circuit first and second outputs 2 and 3, and a control signal for the variable current source M9 has a value corresponding to amplitude equivalence of first and second output currents IOUT1 and IOUT2 , and this control signal value is stored in a memory element C. Thus, two output currents which are operated with a high precision and have the same amplitude and opposite polarities are obtained.
