PURPOSE:To prevent the quality of articles to be transported from being deteriorated and enable an optimum cold reserving condition to be maintained by providing a display of completion of a regenerating operation in the condition where a cold heat accumulating agent is cooled to or below a fixed temperature and a time set on an operation integrating timer for a charger is up. CONSTITUTION:A regenerating operation consists in operating a compressor 34 to cool a cold heat accumulating agent 26 by a cooler 27. As the temperature of the agent 26 is lowered, the temperature detected by a temperature-detecting part 37 is also lowered, and when the temperature detected becomes lower than a set temperature in a first temperature- discriminating means 38, a timer means 39 is started operating. When cooling further proceeds to below a set temperature in a second temperature-discriminating means 40, a signal indicative of the condition is received by a compressor-controlling means 41, which stops the compressor 34 to stop the cooling operation. When the temperature detected by the part 37 is raised after the operation is stopped, the compressor 34 is again operated for the cooling operation. A regeneration end-discriminating means 46 for discriminating the completion of the regenerating operation based on an integrating timer 45 for the charging time of a charger 42 and on the first temperature-discriminating means 38 is provided, and a display means 47 operated according to an output from the means 46 is provided, whereby it is displayed that articles 20 to be transported can be transported.
