THREE SERIES TENSION RESISTING DEVICE AND THREE SERIES BALANCE YOKE

PURPOSE:To prevent the abnormal tension from acting on a yoke in case of the breaking of one insulator series by superposing the connection points of a pair of isosceles triangular yokes, each of the yokes connecting adjacent two insulator series among three juxtaposed insulator series on the line side, the connecting points being connected to the central insulator series as the central connecting point. CONSTITUTION:The earth side of three juxtaposed insulator series 1, 1, 1 are connected to a yoke 2 at the earth side insulator series connecting points 2a, 2a, 2a thereof, and the yoke 2 is connected to an iron tower at one iron tower connecting point 2b thereof. On the line side of the three juxtaposed insulator series 1, 1, 1, two adjacent insulator series 1, 1 are connected by a pair of isosceles triangular yokes 3, 3 respectively on the line side, and their connecting points 3a, 3a with the central insulator series are superposed each other to form the central connecting point 3a, and the connecting points 3b, 3b of each of the pair of yokes 3, 3 on the line side, which are at the other outside ends of the yokes and connected to the outside insulator series, are arranged on the yokes 3, 3 when they are mounted so that they are on the same line with the central connecting point 3a. In case either outside insulator series is disconnected, the tension line will pass through the center of gravity of the yoke.
