KANA AND KANJI (CHINESE CHARACTER) CONVERSION, DISPLAY, AND CONTROL SYSTEM CORRESPONDING TO PLURAL IMAGE PLANES

摘要

PURPOSE:To make a use rate constant irrelevantly to the number of image planes by controlling a KANA(Japanese syllabary) index according to a display start position and display length as to a display device which displays plural image planes at a time. CONSTITUTION:When the KANA index is inputted in an image plane I, its contents are set in a KANA index storage area 4 and transferred to a display memory 1 and at the same time, information is set in an image plane display control part 3 for the image plane I. Image plane switching is performed by this method up to an image plane (n) and the KANA index is inputted. Then when the image plane switching to the image plane I is performed, the KANA index of the image plane I is not present in the KANA index storage area 4. The information on the KANA index displayed in the image plane I, however, is set in an image plane display control part 3, a so KANA index codes are read out of the display memory 1 according to said information and set in the KANA index storage area 4, thereby processing the KANA index in the image plane I.
