PURPOSE:To obtain the titled synthetic yarn having improved electrical conductivity and processing properties inexpensively and easily, by blending an acrylic polymer solution with an elastic polymer solution containing electrically-conductive fine particles, subjecting the blend to dry spinning, drawing it under hot water, washing it with water, drying it, shrinking it under heat and humidity. CONSTITUTION:A solution of acrylic polymer (e.g., acrylonitrile-vinyl chloride copolymer, etc.) is blended with an electrically-conductive elastic polymer solution consisting of 10-70wt% electrically-conductive fine particles (e.g., carbon black, etc.) and 90-30wt% elastic polymer (e.g., polyurethane, etc.) having miscibility with an acrylic polymer but not compatibility with it in a weight ratio of the acrylic polymer/electrically-conductive elastic polymer=(50/50)-(90/10), subjected to dry spinning at =20 times draft ratio of spinning, drawn at =3 times under hot water, washed with water, dried and shrinked under heat and humidity, to give the desired yarn.
