PURPOSE:To prevent a rat from living seclusively improving impact strength and corrosion resistance by providing an outer case having two or more openings under the draft line and forming an air charge adjusting chamber in the inside further providing a stopper tool in the peripheral wall, in case of the captioned float used for a raft of raft-type hanging cultivation or the like. CONSTITUTION:An outer case 2, having a stopper tool 3 of a raft 9 in the peripheral wall and forming an air charge adjusting chamber 4 in the inside with an opening 1 under the draft line, is formed. The raft 9 is fixed by a rope or the like to the stopper tool 3 of the outer case 2 and supported floating on the surface of water by feeding air to the air charge adjusting chamber 4 giving buoyancy. In generation of a typhoon, length of a rope 8, connecting a buoy 7 to an eye bolt 6, is set to a predetermined sinking distance, and the raft 9 is sunk into the water by operating a valve 5 evacuating air in the air charge adjusting chamber 4. By this constitution, resistance against the typhoon or the like and corrosion resistance are improved further with prevention of hidden living of rats.
