INCLUSION COMPOUND OF DEHYDROCHOLIC ACID AND PURIFICATION OF ORGANIC COMPOUND USING THE SAME COMPOUND

PURPOSE:To efficiently purify and separate an organic compound in high purity without requiring complicated operation by adding dehydrocholic acid to a solution containing a target organic compound to be purified and separated to form an inclusion compound, separating the inclusion compound and liberating the aimed organic compound. CONSTITUTION:Dehydrocholic acid is dissolved in a solution containing a target organic compound to be purified and separated, optionally a solvent is removed to precipitate an inclusion compound as crystal and the inclusion compound is separated. The aimed organic compound is liberated by decomposing the inclusion compound by heating or by guest exchange. An alcohol shown by formula I (R is 1-8C alkyl, cycloalkyl or 6-8C aryl), chain ether shown by formula II (R1 and R2 are R except ethyl), cyclic ether shown by formula III (R1 and R2 are ethylene; X is 0 or C-C bond), carboxylic acid shown by formula IV, carbonyl compound shown by formula V (R1 is H or R; R2 is R except methyl), halide shown by formula VI (R is n-functional hydrocarbon and X is halogen; n is 1-4), etc., may be cited as the compound to which this process is applicable.
