PURPOSE:To provide a tea releasing a mild and particular smell by employing the living or dry leaves of a mugwort or a pulverized product thereof as a tea. CONSTITUTION:When hot water is poured on the living or dry leaves of a mugwort or a dry product thereof, a solution exuded from the mugwort exhibits the same color as that of green tea and has a mild taste, thereby permitting to utilize as a tea. The smell of the solution is not so strong but exhibits the characteristic smell of the mugwort rather than that of the conventional tea to tempt the appetite of the mugwort. Thereby, the mugwort tea responds to the tastes of people and has commercial practicality.
