PURPOSE:To obtain an ink holding porous body with a proper void excellent in the toughness and wear resistance by heating and molding a liquid joining organic elastic material within a mold after it is attached to the surface of a structural powder material with a clearance. CONSTITUTION:A liquid joining organic material 2 such as melt thermoplastic resin, thermoplastic rubber, liquid thermosetting regin and reactive liquid rubber is attached to the surface of a structural powder material 1 comprising an inorganic powder or a thermoplastic elastomer powder with a clearance among liquid drops and fills a mold. Thus, the joining organic elastic material 2 is melted quickly, sintered and solidified by cooling or hardened by heating. Prior to this, it is heated by irradiation of extreme infrared rays to reduce the treatment time. A porous body obtained by heat molding is dipped in a mixed solution of a solvent such as alcohol, aceton and benzene for dissolving the organic elastic element and a non-solvent such as water or brought into contact with a vapor of the solvent to remove or shrink the thin film on the surface of the porous body so that fine holes are made to create a porous state.
