PURPOSE:To prevent the beating noises and breakage of a hatchet tine, the looseness of a bolt, the wear of a hatchet tine, etc., by disposing the tine so that the gravity center of the tine is placed at a position forward from a centrifugal line of the hatchet tine toward the rotation of a tine shaft. CONSTITUTION:The attaching section 11 of a hatchet tine 9A for tillage is inserted into a box type bracket 8 fixed to a tine shaft 7 and pivotally supported with a fastener 10. An approximately doglegged straight flat base portion 12 projected forward in the rotation direction of a tine shaft is disposed between the attaching section 11 and the straight flat portion 13 so that the gravity center G of the hatchet tine is placed forward in the rotation direction of the tine on the basis of a centrifugal line alpha passing both the centers of the tine shaft and the fastener 10 and so that the portion of the hatchet tine between the straight flat base portion 12 and the intermediate portion of the straight flat portion 13 is placed forward from the centrifugal line alpha. Consequently, any forward-directed fluctuation centering a bolt 10 is not generated on the hatchet 9A, thereby permitting to prevent the noises and breakage of the hatchet tine, the loosening of the bolt 10, the wear of the hatchet tine, etc.
