INDIVIDUAL METHOD FOR MEASURING ISOENZYME ACTIVITY OF LACTATE DEHYDROGANSE IN HUMAN BLOOD SERUM

PURPOSE:To measure the activities of the respective isoenzymes of lactate dehydrogenase in human blood serum, by utilizing the difference between the stabilities of the respective isoenzymes at various pH values. CONSTITUTION:A method for measuring the activities of the respective isoenzymes consisting of prewarming a human blood serum at various pH values in an alkaline region for a given time and at a given temperature, and measuring the activities by the well-known method for measuring the lactate dehydrogenase. The activities of the following isoenzymes can be carried out; H4, H3M, H2M2 and HM3 at 9.4-9.8pH, H4, H3M and H2M2 at 9.8-10.25pH, H4 and H3M at 10.25-10.6pH and H4 at =10.6pH. The activities of the respective isoenzymes are determined from the values by calculation.
