Suspension device of the blades in a compressor casing, the casing comprising an inner envelope 1 and an outer casing 2. The inner envelope is formed of a unit 28, 29 of the cylindrical sectors having radial grooves 31, 33 in which are held in place of the supports 37 of strips of friction, 32 and the sectors of stator vanes. The outer casing 2 is cooled by the ventilation pipes 13 and co-operates with its lugs 20, 24 with the lugs 22 of the inner envelope 1. The pins 27 passing through the lugs hold the envelopes. The sectors have a form of parallelogram and carry two lugs two upstream and downstream tabs capable of receiving a fixing pin of a manner as a spindle in two passes through a fixing pin of a manner as a spindle in two passes through the lugs of two sectors consecutive. / p & & p & the purpose of the device is to enable the control of the clearance between stator and rotor of an axial compressor.
