AUGER PREBORING METHOD BY SELF-TRAVELLING SMALL PILE-DRIVER

PURPOSE:To aim at improving operation efficiency by providing a speed reducer detachably fitted against the power take-off shaft of an auger driver to be connected directly with an auger. CONSTITUTION:Normally, the upper end of a spiral auger is directly connected with the power take-off shaft 11 of an auger driver 1 without a speed reducer 2. In case of the ground with adverse condition such as hard ground, the upper end of the auger 3 is connected with the output shaft through the speed reducer 1 so as to reduce the engine speed of the auger driver approximately by half, and thereby the thrust of an auger head into the ground is improved. Accordingly, profitability is also improved.
