PURPOSE:To uniformly coat a tile body with a glaze, eliminate leakage by abrasion of a sliding part and contrive improvement in durability, by spraying the tile body with the glaze thereon while conveying the tile body placed on a conveyor according to a specific constitution and coating the tile body therewith. CONSTITUTION:A timing belt 20 is traveled in one direction at a constant speed by driving with a driving motor 10 and a glaze is sprayed from both nozzles 23 and 23. A changeover valve 42 for opening and closing is changed over in this state to feed pressurized air only to one of the air cylinders 32 of a moving unit 22. A rod 33 is extended and one of the straight-line traveling parts (20a) of the timing belt 20 is nipped and pressed between a press plate 34 at the tip thereof and a frictional plate 28 of a box unit 27. Thereby the moving unit 22 is integrally linked to the belt 20 and the nozzles 23, together with the moving unit 22, is traveled across the conveyor 1 thereon along a guide rail 24 at a constant speed while spraying a glaze without twisting a glaze feeding hose. As a result, the top surface of the tile body (a) conveyed by the conveyor 1 at a constant speed is uniformly coated with the glaze in a spraying pattern in an oblique form to the conveying direction.
