PURPOSE:To accurately obtain information relating to the brake using state of a car, by counting the number of operation times of an emergency brake allowing the ratio of the change in a car speed to exceed a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:Various informations relating to a car speed are obtained by processing the data obtained by a sensor 15 with a computer 10. The computer 10 reads the output of a brake switch 16 through an input port 11. When the stepping-on of a brake pedal is detected by changing over the brake switch 16, the computer 10 directly reads information relating to the car speed of a car speed sensor 15 and calculates the ratio of the change in the car speed. The number of times exceeding a predetermined value in the ratio of the change in the car speed are counted and printed by a printer 20 through an output port 2.
