PREVENTION OF WATER POLLUTION IN COFFERING WORK OF RIVER

PURPOSE:To prevent water pollution by a method in which a sheet to prevent the diffusion of turbid water is hung down around a prefabricated working base on the peripheral side of a site to be shut down and fixed to the bottom by means of weights attached to the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A working base 2 is constructed on the peripheral side of a coffering area, and a sheet 3 to prevent the diffusion of turbid water is hung down from the peripheral edge of the base 2 and fixed to the bottom by weights attached to the sheet 3 along the river bed A to surround the peripheral side of the coffering area. An artificial islet 1 for the coffering area is constructed inside of the base 2. The diffusion and outflow of sludge by excavation to outside can thus be prevented.
